MICROTROL’s
safety record is second to none; during the last 24 years, i.e., over 5 million man-hours of operations there has been no fatal accident. There have been stray incidents caused due to break-down in infrastructure leading to a loss of a few process cycles.
MICROTROL takes special care where the health of employees is concerned. All EtO facilities have EtO
gas detectors that ensure the concentration of gas is
maintained within permissible levels.
In the Gamma plant film badges have been provided to all employees that are processed every month. Operations are supervised by a qualified Radiological Safety Officer who monitors the radiation field in all accessible areas.
The discharge of spent gases at the EtO facilities is at a height as laid down by the statute and through scrubbers where stipulated. In the Gamma plant, ozone that is generated is dispersed after dilution in to the environment. |
